Morane Bank
This is a huge bank running between North Island and Silhouette. Depth on either side of the bank drop off to 40+ metres. Most of the bank is at a depth of 29 metres besides 2 plateaus that rise as shallow as 23 metres. Due to strong currents the opportunity to dive there is limited to the time between the monsoons and a negative entry is required. Experts among the divers know that the shape of the bank is a guarantee to see every type of big and small fish passing over the bank. There is no need for long swims. Just hover over above the low-lying corals and watch the action!
